Previous awards to Wingate Scholars
The Harold Hyam Wingate Foundation, through the Wingate Scholarships Scheme, gave awards for Scholarships from 1988 to 2011. Over 1,000 scholars from many different countries and backgrounds have benefited from awards totalling some £8m. The scholarships have enabled talented individuals to undertake or complete a wide variety of projects of intellectual, scientific, artistic, social or environmental value.
Further information about the history and achievements of the Wingate Scholarships can be found on the Anniversary Archive website which was set up in 2008 to celebrate the scheme's 20 year anniversary.
